The Rector of the Institute of Legal Practice and Development encouraged Public Relations& Communication staff to show their presence as communicators

The 4 days skills transfer workshop was organized by the Ministry of Justice for Justice Sector Public Relations and Communication staff. This workshop kickedoff on Tuesday 31st October 2017 to Friday 3rd November 2017, with the ultimate purpose of transferring hands on skills to Justice Sector staff in charge of communication.

While addressing them, the Rector reminded them how unique in character the Justice sector is and how public relations and communication officers is are to always be the voice of all Justice Sector institutions.

Communication work must be research based as communication staff need to communicate factual information. Communication work is similar to marketing as your job contributes to the like or dislike of Justice Sector institutions...” He added.

This skills transfer workshop for Justice Sector public relations and communication staff was officially closed by the Rector of the Institute of Legal Practice and Development Dr. KAYIHURA MUGANGA Didace; the chairperson of the Justice Sector communication Thematic Working Group.
