The Ambassador of Netherlands in Rwanda Visits ILPD
On this Wednesday 17th February 2016, the Netherlands Ambassador to Rwanda paid a courtesy call to The Institute of Legal Practice and Development (ILPD).
During the visit, the ambassador made a tour of the institute exploring its different infrastructures; where she visited the ILPD moot court, the Library, students’ bedrooms, the office of MAJ, etc.
The Rector Rector of ILPD through a brief and consise presentation explained to the ambassador different projects of the institute, its achievements and the way forward.
ILPD have been in partnership with the Netherlands for years under NICHE project and NUFFIC. The partnership plaed a vital role in the capacity building of ILPD Staff, improvement of ILPD programs structures, ect.
According to the NL ambassador to Rwanda, the Netherlands is still committed in participating in the development of the Justice sector in Rwanda through several programs.
