ILPD Students Embrace Transformative Internship at the East African Court of Justice
The Institute of Legal Practice and Development (ILPD) continues to empower its students with invaluable practical experience, as students UTUJE Rita and Lemnyuy Alvine Leinyuy embark on academic internships at the East African Court of Justice (EACJ) from September 23, 2024 till November 1, 2024. This opportunity is equipping them with crucial insights into the workings of regional and international law, fostering their professional growth, and preparing them for future contributions to the East African legal landscape.
For UTUJE Rita, this internship marks a pivotal moment in her legal journey. “This experience is transformative for my career,” she shared. “It offers practical exposure to a prominent regional court, refining my legal reasoning, research, and analytical skills. It also provides invaluable insights into regional dispute resolution and international law.”
She highlighted the importance of such exposure for her long-term career goal, stating, “This experience is crucial for my ambition to contribute to the East African legal system and address cross-border legal challenges.”
Likewise, Lemnyuy Alvine Leinyuy expressed her enthusiasm for the unique learning experience. “This internship is an invaluable opportunity.
