ILPD held a training of public Legal Advisors on Company and Competition Law

On 31st January 2014, The Minister of Justice Hon Johnson BUSINGYE officiated at a closure of the training in which ILPD trained 41 Legal Advisors from different Ministries and public institutions. This training aimed at updating and increasing the skills of public Legal Advisors on company and competition law. In the training, trainees learned how to apply principles of company law, business transactions, the legality of pre incorporation contracts, factors influencing choice for a company, the respective roles and legal duties of Directors and Shareholders, and so on. The Minister of Justice Hon BUSINGYE requested the trained legal advisors to implement what they learned in their daily activities. He advised them to stay connected as people who work in the same field not only for private reasons but also for mutual assistance at work.
