ILPD conducts the Training on Investigation and Prosecution of offenses related to public procurement.
On 30st January 2015, ILPD Officiated the closure of the five days training in which 34 police officers and prosecutors were trained . This training aimed at updating and increasing the skills of police officers and prosecutors in Investigating and Prosecuting offenses related to public procurement.
During the training, trainees learned how to apply principles of investigation on public procurement offenses. As confirmed by Gakwerere Javah, one of the trainee, the training was very successful and important to them as they were taught some of the techniques useful to their daily duties. The training was facilitated by Mr Eugene Nkubito and Sibomana Pierre Celestin. While closing the training Celestin thanked ILPD for having organized such a training which is fruitful, and requested the trainees to apply in their work what they learned.
The Government of Rwanda trains police officers and prosecutors on Investigation and Prosecution of offenses related to public procurement with the aim of reducing offenses, mistakes, and litigation in the public procurement.
