Closing ceremony of the training on Professional Practice for Non Professional Bailiffs at ILPD

The training on Professional Practice for Non Professional Bailiffs organized by the Institute of Legal Practice and Development from 19-21 October 2016 ended at the ILPD Headquarters, Nyanza.

The training brought together the Sector and Cell Executive Secretaries from Ngoma, Musanze, Nyamasheke, Rusizi, Rwamagana, Bugesera, Nyarugenge, Nyagatare, Kirehe, Rulindo and Rubavu Districts.

During these three days of training, several topics related to judgement executions were discussed and more specifically the ones on Practicing as Professional Bailiff, Competence of Professional Bailiffs, Independence of Bailiffs and their relationship with other institution, Enforcement of judgments, administrative decisions and other enforcement orders, Code of conduct and capacity building of bailiffs and Sanctions imposed to Bailiff in case acting against laws.

Therefor this training aimed at helping Bailiffs to avoid the mistake made during judgments executions, increasing knowledge of Bailiffs about their work and enabling Bailiffs to be really professional in their work.

The training closing ceremony was marked by the address of the Acting Academic Registrar of ILPD, Mr Epimaque MUSAFIRI and the certificates awarding to participants. The Ag. Academic Registrar reminded the trainees that what they are supposed to do is the key and a Must in justice delivering, as they are the ones who put into actions the courts decisions.
