The Minister of Justice/ Attorney General, DR UGIRASHEBUJA Emmanuel, the guest of honor, in his remarks he reminded the graduates that they are going to operate in a fourth industrial revolution which is the current development in which disruptive technologies and trend such as the internet of things, robotics, virtual reality and artificial intelligence are changing the way in which modern people live and work.

He further gave them a piece of advice that for them to survive and thrive today’s world is to deeply reflect and live in accordance with Rwandan values.

He said: “I would invite you graduate to deeply reflect and live in accordance with what I have widely accepted as the Rwandan values which are in Kinyarwanda known as indangagaciro nyarwanda. Those values are unity, patriotism, selflessness, integrity, responsibility, volunteerism as well as humility.”

The Acting Rector of the ILPD, Dr. SEZIRAHIGA Yves focused his remarks to the moral fiber that should characterize the conduct and the ways of legal professionals as they go about their work activities.

He further begged the graduates to carry themselves forth in action having due regard to the standards of ethics expected of their conduct. He added that, in executing their respective attributions, they should treat others only in ways that they're willing to be treated in the same exact situation.

Be consistent in your ethical and professional conduct because discipline is your ability to sustain constructive behaviour. The day you misconduct yourself may undo many days of hard work you have put in.” He added

The 10th graduation ceremony brought together more than 1500 participants physically while above 1200 attended virtually through live streaming on You Tube channel of the institute and of Igihe Ltd.
